Mourning Dove Keeping Watch in the Rain
Noticed this mourning dove seemed to be keeping a watchful vigil despite the all day rain. I braved the rain to take a photo. Thought the rusty tin roof and protruding nails provided some interest and contrast against the gray overcast sky. Reminds me of someone waiting and keeping watch in a lighthouse for any sign of their loved one returning home from sea.
